- Unique terroir of Hermonville
- Silty–clayey soils over lacustrine limestone
- Blend: 50 % Pinot Noir, 50% Pinot Meunier
- Vintages: One barrel from 2014 / One barrel from 2015
VINIFICATION
- Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in old oak barrels for 8 months
- Aged for a minimum of 24 months in 228L pièces (oak barrels)
- Natural malolactic fermentation may occur depending on the year
- Aged 8 years on lees in bottle, then 1 additional year after disgorgement
- Bottled in a “special” bottle in June 2017
- Disgorged: December 2024
- Dosage: 2 g/l
- Traditional cork, “fleur” quality, 2-disc
SENSORY SIGNATURE
Since 2015, this rare cuvée has been crafted from a meticulous selection of Pinot Noir barrels from various parcels. Each year, the finest pièces are chosen to create a cuvée of both delicate character and powerful expression.
